Synopsis: |
This is a true story of the Battle of Longewala in western Rajhastan during the war of 1971 between India & Pakistan. The war started on the 5th of December 1971 when a Pakistani infantry brigade crossed the 'Border' 16 kilometers away from 'Longewala'. Many young men, including Dharam Veer (Akshaye Khanna) and a Raja of Rajhastan (Sunil Shetty) come together to fight the battle alongside with their battalion leader, Kuldeep Singh (Sunny Deol). As they wait for the war to develop, they tell stories about their family and friends. |
