Connecting Communities to India

India for Everyone is a nonprofit educational organization with a simple mission of connecting communities to India.

We believe that working together with libraries, schools and other nonprofits will be most effective way for us all to enable this mission. So, we focus our work in three main areas:
Building individual expertise
Developing library collections
Facilitating community events

1. Building Individual Expertise
As a librarian or educator, you are invited to join the India for Everyone network and get connected to a set of resources designed for you, including:
- A fast-growing collection of articles: reading lists, program guides, how to's, lesson plans, and more
- Reviews of the latest books and movies from and about India
- Website links: Top 50 Websites to learn more about India
- Events calendar: Library programs, book readings, partner events and more

2. Developing Library Collections
We also supply libraries with books and media about India at very competitive prices. We will appreciate your public or school library acquiring Bollywood movies and books in English, Hindi, Gujarati, Tamil and Punjabi from us. If requested, we can provide advice on collection development and cataloging services.

3. Facilitating community events
Through our efforts with community organizations, we have brought many interesting cultural events to communties around the country. We have sponsored a children's art competition, a youth film festival, several dance competitions, book fairs and much more. You can see upcoming events in our News page.
