Synopsis: |
"Billu is the story of a simple village barber, Billu (Irfaan Khan), whose life hangs below the poverty line. His shop is in worse condition than he is and at home his electricity bills are pending and his two kids are thrown out of school. But, life changes when Sahir Khan (Shahrukh Khan), Billu's estranged childhood friend, now a superstar comes to the village for shooting his latest film. The villagers start worshipping Billu, his kids are taken back in school, his shop is renovated by a miserly moneylender (Om Puri), and all overnight well-wishers of the village want to meet Sahir Khan through Billu. Billu tries to meet Khan but is thrown out by Khan's security forces. Watch the movie to find whether Sahir Khan recognizes Billu or not." |
